Features of inactivation product with single-use virus sampling tube:

The components of the culture medium of the inactivated sampling tube: Hank’s solution, cryoprotectant, biological buffer, amino acid, inactivator and RNA protectant, which inactivate virus samples and protect RNA from degradation. A combination of multiple antibiotics is used in the culture medium to effectively prevent bacterial and fungal contamination.

It is used for the collection and transportation of virus specimens such as 2019-nCoV, new coronavirus, coronavirus, influenza virus, avian influenza, hand, foot and mouth, measles, and mycoplasma, chlamydia, ureaplasma, etc.


If the collected sample is used for the detection of viral nucleic acid, a nucleic acid extraction kit and nucleic acid detection reagent shall be used in conjunction; if it is used for virus isolation purposes, a cell culture medium shall be used in conjunction.

Before sampling, indicate the sample information on the label;

According to different experimental purposes, use sampling swabs to sample at corresponding parts;
After sampling, quickly put the swab into the sampling tube of the virus-containing transport medium, break it at the breaking point, and tighten the tube cap;
Specimens collected fresh with inactivated sampling tubes can be transported to the laboratory within 7 days at room temperature (5-25°C). The effect of ice bags during transportation will be better. For samples used for nucleic acid detection, the detection effect is better within 24 hours.

The specific sampling method is as follows:

a) Nasal swab: Gently insert the swab head into the nasal palate in the nasal passage, stay for a while and then slowly rotate and exit. Swab the other nostril with another swab, immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break it at the breaking point, and discard it. (Suitable for sampling with this product)
b) Pharyngeal swab: Use the swab to wipe the bilateral pharyngeal tonsils and posterior wall of the pharynx, and immerse the swab head in the sampling solution and discard it. (Suitable for sampling with this product).


This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only.
The liquid in the sampling tube is the transport medium, and the sampling swab cannot be dipped into it before sampling.
The discarded sample collection fluid should be sterilized.
If it is found that the transport medium has expired, the liquid is discolored, turbid, or leaks, it is prohibited to use it.
